Weather/Cancellation Policy
We will closely monitor forecasted weather leading up to the day of Noah’s Bandage Run. We will provide all important updates regarding inclement weather for participants via our website, and social media accounts.
On race day, the Race Director will have the final decision if any actions will need to be made in regard to delaying start time, changing or shortening the route, or canceling the race altogether.
Visible lightning seen by or reported to the Race Director that the Race Director reasonably determines is a threat to race participants will, at the Race Director’s discretion, cause the start time to be postponed for at least 30 minutes after the most recent flash of lightning.
If lightning strikes at or near the course after the race begins, the Noah’s Bandage Run Team will do their best to inform runners/walkers on the course of the inclement weather. At that point, it will be up to the participant to decide if they would like to continue on the course or take shelter.
We are a nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise money to fund pediatric cancer research grants. Refunds will not be provided if the race is canceled or you are unable to finish the course due to inclement weather, natural disaster, or any other global, regional, or state-wide crisis/pandemic outside of our control.
